July 7th.. 18 years ago...

My dear friends, brothers and sisters,
I desire to share with you that exactly today, 18 years have passed since, in obedience to the voice of God my family and me moved from Mexico City to Saltillo... We steped in faith. God called us like Abraham, he tooked us out from our natal city, we needed to leave everything behind: job, houses, relatives, relations, we must leave our secure and comfort place...to be able to experiment Him as our rock of refuge... He brought us to a city we didn`t like, where we didn`t know anyone, where we didn´t have anything for sure, the only thing we had for sure was the pomise of God that told us: preach My Word, and I will take care of you....
Here we have learned what is to depend totally on Him and here we have seen how God opens springs in the midst of the desert, He has been with us as fire column and His cloud has guided us and protected us during difficult seasons… we have drunk the water from the Rock, the water of His Word… We have seen how is nessesary to become nothing, because God of nothing does everything, because He uses " the things that are not" to nulify the "things that are" … I identify myself with Moses, he spent 40 years in Egypt thinking he was something, later he had to spend 40 years in the desert to realize he was "a nobody" , but finally he lived 40 years more seeing what God can do with " a nobody". =)
Many people judged us crazzy and even they were expectant of our return to Mexico City, even the demonds were ready to see us fail... the good news are that the one Who called us NEVER FAILS!!! During these years, many have been the battles and the obstacles but until this day I can say EBENEZER. Up to here Jehovah has helped us… He has been faithful.
Today my heart is fill with joy... remembering how He brought us here with mighty hand and how He has molded us and has sustained us in a way we didn´t know, He has fed us every single day with manna from heaven, with HIS VERY living Word!! Thanks I give to God because His mercy is forever... and I share this with you… wishing that your faith does not lack, but on the contrary it would strenght, because the Lord always fulfills His promises, and we know that the plans of God for us are to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future... and Who is our future? Jesus Christ, THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA!!! His is the DESIRE OF OUR HEARTS AND OUR PORTION FOREVER!! AMEN!
